Chart notes
MARGIN OF AIR set a measured pace inside, repelled challenges from both sides in the stretch and edged clear in a moderate drive. FICTIONALFAIRYTALE settled inside, bid into the stretch, posed a threat but could not get by the winner. MISCHIEVOUS JONES forced the pace in the two path then weakened in the final furlong. ICE BAR broke a step slowly, chased outside and lacked a rally. DEPLANE dropped back inside and flattened out in the stretch. ABOUT THE MULTIPLE prompted the pace three wide for half a mile and stopped. GO SKIPPY GO lagged far behind losing contact with his field and was eased.
