Chart notes
SECRET PATH well placed outside the dueling leaders, led midway on the final turn and edged away under strong urging. RONIN WARRIOR angled inside off the pace, moved out advancing on the final turn and closed well. HARD STING dropped far behind, advanced wide passing rivals while no threat. MAYBE AFTER LATER vied outside with a narrow advantage then was finished after three quarters. PIER FORTY settled off the pace and weakened steadily. SUPER JOHN dueled along the inside to the three eighths pole and faded. EDDIE'S CHARGE trailed inside early and was never in contention.
