KACHINA stalked close up three wide, dueled past the half mile marker, dueled with DO YOU BILEVE turning for home, battled it out with that rival through a long stretch drive and prevailed narrowly at the end. DO YOU BILEVE set the pace on the inside, dueled inside at the half mile marker, briefly shook free, dueled with KACHINA through the stretch run, dug in gamely inside and battled to the wire. JESSIE'S VALENTINE raced off the rail, off the pace, moved up three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied mildly and bested the others. SMOKIN' OKIE tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn, came two wide into the lane and failed to threaten. SEEING DOUBLE was outrun early, advanced at the quarter pole and passed tired ones. DIXIELAND CANDY stalked two wide, tracked the leaders on the backside and faded. TIC TOC TOCCET raced three wide early, stalked four wide, dueled past the half mile marker, chased three wide on the far turn and gave way.
