Chart notes
POPPY'S BOYS steadied entering the first turn, raced in range inside, split rivals three wide near the quarter pole, seized command in upper stretch, stayed on the left lead through the lane and widened. SEIZE THE HAY saved ground off the pace, briefly angled out nearing the head of the lane, angled back in nearing the eighth pole and rallied inside. RYE SENSE OF HUMOR pressed the pace two wide between foes around the first turn, settled back into stalking position down the backstretch, re-bid three wide nearing the quarter pole was outkicked in the lane. MR MAC QUHAE failed to menace while racing two and three wide. JUPITER BLUES set the pace along the rail and tired in the drive. COMPLEX SYSTEM hopped at the start and was shut off soon after, rushed up while rank three wide around the first turn, vied outside down the backstretch and faltered around the far turn.
