Chart notes
S S ALASKAN CRUZ was bumped then shut off leaving the gate and saved ground well off the early pace, bid past the seven sixteenths pole, steadily improved and rounded the far turn about the three path then dug in for the lead later yards. SUGAR LIPS settled off the pace inside, bid leaving the seven sixteenths and came through the far turn in the three path, dueled to the front past the eighth pole but was caught in later yards. GOLDEN METTLE broke outward across the path of S S Alaskan Cruz then stalked the early pace two deep, took the nod leaving the half mile pole, drew clear at the three eighths, ran near the rail on the far turn, was caught past the eighth pole, continued to factor in the upper stretch but relented later yards. QUIET JUSTICE raced off the rail early, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail then weakened. GHOST MINE broke in the air and inward across the path of S S Alaskan Cruz, saved ground and never factored. WRIGHT RUSSELL set the early pace inside, was caught and gave chase leaving the half mile pole, but dropped back at the three eighths and gave way nearing the far turn.
