Chart notes
MINE OWN STAR dueled early inside, settled off the pace down the backstretch, stalked in the two path, bid at the quarter pole, went clear and then lasted in the drive. KILLER BEE saved ground, went around a foe at the three-sixteenths, rallied inside and missed. FLIGHT TO PARADISE stalked the pace in the four path, then bid late for show. BIG BLUE raced in the two path and had a mild late bid. POWERFUL POINT saved ground to no avail. BLACKSMITH STRONG raced in the three path but had no closing bid.
