Chart notes
G DADDY was away alertly to set the early pace and move to the inside, then was headed and dueled by the quarter pole to the furlong marker, then edged clear leaving the sixteenth pole to prove best, driving. HESASMOKIN was off slowly, then advanced on the inside on the turn, angled out leaving the turn and was gaining late to gain the place award. WONDER IN stalked the pace three wide and made a two wide bid on the turn to duel for command by the quarter pole, but flattened out in the furlong grounds, lost place award wire. I SEE THE STARS was settled early and made a four wide run on the turn and finished evenly. GRANDFIRE chased the early pace and was between rivals on the turn and lacked the needed rally. SHOWER THE PEOPLE was reserved early, raced two to three wide on the turn and had no rally. SHADOW BOAT was settled back early, came four wide into the drive and lacked a rally.
