Chart notes
ANITA GRIGIO showed good early speed, Apppointed edged away a bit inside the eighth pole, dug in and came on gamely from the inside to get up in a determined effort under strong handling. APPOINTED pressed the early leader, led deep stretch but was outfinished to be second best. LIL'S TURN stalked the early pace, moved up along the inside through the upper stretch and made a good late gain. ONEZY'S DREAM stalked the top pair down the backstretch and weakened while racing near the inside. MACHISIMA was off slowly, raced four wide near the three sixteenths pole and had not enough in the drive. MODUS OPERANDI settled off the early going, raced four wide into the upper stretch and never was a factor. FLECK was slow early, raced towards the inside and never threatened.
