Chart notes
VIOLENT RUNNER vied four deep for command early, cleared into the turn and angled in, opened up around the bend and drew off under right-handed urging and steady handling. POET LAUREATE had early foot five deep early, chased the leader two to three wide around the bend and bested the rest. SWEET HEIDELBERG got bumped by YOUR RINGER leaving the gate, forwardly placed along the rail early, got put in tight and shuffled back entering the turn, saved ground to the stretch and flattened. MISS MENSA broke inward leaving the gate, showed speed three deep then ceded control and angled out past the nine-sixteenths pole, chased three to four wide into the stretch and weakened. YOUR RINGER broke in and bumped rival, showed speed between rivals early, could not keep up with the leader leaving the backstretch and raced in a bit tight at the seven-sixteenths pole, exited the turn two to three wide and had little left for the drive.
