Chart notes
WILLING TO BURN went to the front at once, set the pace while pace while racing removed from the rail and maintained a safe advantage. LOOKOUT TAYLOR settled just off the pace while racing three-wide, rallied into the stretch, could not reach the winner, but proved second best. DODROPIN was four-wide throughout and finished fairly well while lacking the need late response. AMERICAN ROYALTY saved ground, but lacked a response when called upon.
