Chart notes
PORTER GENT rushed up from along the rail to vie for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace throughout from the inside of CASCADE BILLY, and prevailed over that stubborn foe following a stretch long battle. CASCADE BILLY away alertly and dueled for the lead from the outside of PORTER GENT entering the first turn, continued their race long battle in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, and just missed in a great effort. DEPARTURE stalked the dueling leaders into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, rallied smartly from along the inside entering the final turn, and finished well one out from the rail in the drive to prove best of the rest. SET TO SHINE settled off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, rallied three out from the rail entering the final turn, and improved his position over the final furlong while finishing four wide in the drive. STAY FANTASTIC away well and stalked the battling leaders from along the rail in the run down the backstretch, rallied along the inside entering the final turn, but was outfinished late. SIR BREGOVIC broke sharply and pressed the leaders into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, was unable to keep tabs on the top pair entering the final turn, and faded over the final furlong. SLEW'S BAK unhurried early while dropping back to trail, saved ground through the final turn, but failed to make an impact.
