Chart notes
THE SINNER IS YOU allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, angled three wide into the stretch, gained a short lead at the furlong marker, then shook clear and drew off late. NICE ACE stalked the pace on the outside, bid outside of that one gaining a short lead into the stretch, shook clear, then was no match for the winner and held the place. FRANZ JOSEF well placed and inside, drifted out slightly when angled out into the stretch, then weakened and could not gain the final furlong. HARD COUNT mid pack, moved up two and three wide through the turn, came widest into the stretch, angled in and evened out. HEATHER'S GOLD well placed and outside, moved up through the turn, then faded into the stretch. FORWARD MOTION sprinted to a clear lead, stayed on when challenged into the stretch and faded the final furlong. TEMPUS was never involved.
