Chart notes
BOX SEAT raced close up inside, waited for room from the five sixteenths to eighth pole, split rivals in the two path, rallied inside of GREEN EYED BELLE, dueled with that rival and finished willingly to prevail at the wire. GREEN EYED BELLE vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the turn, gained a short lead, dueled with BOX SEAT in the final sixteenth, dug in gamely outside of that rival and just missed. GRAND ROYALE raced close up between rivals, came three wide into the lane, rallied and was outkicked. GENTLE GEORGE vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn and tired. GOSPEL MUSKETEER stalked close up three wide, raced three wide on the turn, came four wide into the lane and faded. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch run, the race was declared official.
