PEPPER unhurried in the early going, moved up inside through the turn, was blocked, waited, came through when clear, angled in, then made a steady gain and edged in the final strides. TACTICAL PAJAMAS tracked the pace, angled out to gain position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader, gained a short lead into the stretch, shook clear and was outfinished in the final strides. DANA'S BEAUTY allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the turn, fanned widest into the stretch and evened out while edging for the show. BOURBON GAL never far back, gained position on the two path through the turn, came through on that path, angled out and evened out. STATE CROWN allowed to settle, gained position three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and had no rally. PLATINUM GEM sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start and faded in the stretch.
