Chart notes
GOODLUCKCHUCK rated a slim lead inside, came under pressure approaching the three eighths pole, was met leaving the quarter pole but recovered the edge into the lane, dueled clear past the eighth pole and dug in determinedly to hold well. DIXIE DRAWL saved ground off the pace, bid leaving the half mile pole and raced off the rail on the far turn, dug in nearest the rail through the stretch and took over second inside the sixteenth pole. BOASTER saved early ground well off the pace, bid nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced in the three path of the far turn and finished well to take third the final yards. ISHIHARA settled off the pace from the seven eighths pole, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole and dueled to a slim brief lead between horses past the quarter pole, raced close through the upper stretch but flattened later yards. MIDNIGHT ACT raced off the pace inside, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and ran evenly in the lane. OUTLIER rated off the pace about the three path, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, loomed a close factor three wide on the far turn then flattened the final sixteenth. RRACE DAY WARRIOR stalked the early pace off the rail, gave chase from the half mile pole but faded through the backstretch.
