Chart notes
SWEET BETTY JOYCE was bumped at the start, stalked the pace three wide for a half, rallied to make the lead before the furlong marker and edged clear under a brisk hand ride. ST PATTY'S SONG never far back, rallied late in the five path and finished clear for second. HIGH CUPPER unhurried early, finished determinedly two wide. QUEEN AIR pressed the pace two wide until mid stretch then faded in the four path. BAY MAGIC pressed the pace along the rail for a half, lacked racing room at the top of the stretch, shifted out then faded. QUEEN OF THE TILES was no factor. SWEET CHELSEA was never close. HOOS TAKING CHARGE bore in at the start bumping the winner, set the pace along the rail for a half then stopped.
