Chart notes
GRAYGHOSTGRANVILLE showed good early speed to set the pace while racing three wide and held gamely to be clear under steady handlling. MR L B J pressed the pace from the inside, dug in through the stretch run and held the place position. PAID THE PORTER was off a step slow, settled off the early going, raced three to two wide in the drive and kept on to the wire. SWAY BACK WHEN was off slowly, settled to the back of the pack early, raced three to four wide through the upper lane and had no late response. FIRST COPY settled off the early going, raced four wide around the far turn and had no response. HERE'S YOUR DRINK pressed the pace while racing between rivals and gave way.
