Chart notes
FULLY CONNECTED chased toward the inside, was pinched back past the five sixteenths pole but quickly recovered stride in the five path of the turn, angled to the seven path entering the stretch and dug in to take over the final strides. TOLLER took the lead nearing the half mile pole and set a pressured pace inside, rounded the turn at the rail, dug in under steady encouragement leaving the turn but was caught in the final strides. SWILL MERCHANT gave chase inside, checked in tight at the rail past the five sixteenths pole, recovered stride off the rail on the far turn and finished well under steady handling. SANTO raced well back from early contention, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole, ran at the rail on the turn, angled to the six path leaving the turn and finished well to pass rivals. STORM TRAPPE chased the early pace outside, angled in leaving the five sixteenths pole, raced close in the three path of the turn then flattened the final sixteenth. SLOE GIN BIZ chased toward the outside, was carried outward to the six path leaving the turn and passed rivals in the lane. PAPA DON chased toward the outside, was shut off leaving the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn about the seven path then flattened in the lane. IRISH MCDOUGAL gave chase outside, rounded the turn in the six and seven paths and showed little in the lane. GREAT ASSUMPTIONS gave close early chase, rounded the turn about the three path then weakened. SECRET CAMELOT chased the early pace toward mid track, was forced in across the path of Fully Connected past the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn near the rail then weakened.
