Chart notes
MEAN SHARON showed good early speed and held gamely to be clear under strong handling. SHELBY R. was reluctant to load, coaxed along while racing two wide to race up close early and couldn't get by the winner in the drive to finish second best. BEAU ROCKS was hustled along early, raced four wide through the upper stretch and had not enough. BETHEL RIDGE was coaxed along from the inside and had no rally. VISION OF THE KAT was slow early on, raced three to four wide and never was a factor.
