MASTER EWEN tracked the leaders into the backstretch while tucked in at the rail, rallied smartly from along the inside through the final turn, tipped two wide entering the lane, and wore down the pacesetter late to prevail. QUAGMIRE broke sharply and raced to the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backstretch and through the final turn, shook clear of his pace rivals leaving the turn, but was unable to fend off MASTER EWEN in the final strides, while proving clearly second best. KLONDIKE GENTLEMAN unhurried early while dropping back to trail, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and finished two out from the rail in the drive while improving his position over the final furlong. JACK'S REIGN away alertly and pressed the leader from between rivals in the run down the backstretch, struggled to keep tabs on the leader entering the final turn, and had little to offer late. RACING RIVER pressed the pacesetter three wide in the run down the backstretch, continued to force the issue two out from the rail entering the final turn, was unable to keep tabs on his pace rival leaving the turn. and weakened in the lane.
