Chart notes
RYAN'S SWORD set the pace from the three eighths pole, drew clear toward the quarter and was pressured at the rail through the turn, dug in under moderate urging from the head of the lane, then taken in hand the final sixteenth. SETTLEMENT DATE chased, rounded the turn two deep, came between horses mid-stretch and dueled through the final sixteenth for second. MYSTIC O'SHAUNESIE became a bit anxious in the gate, gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the three path, drifted toward the head of the lane and was outfinished for second the final sixteenth. THUNDERINREADYRICK chased through the backstretch, ran in the four path of the turn and passed rivals outside. BURR HILL BULLET set the early pace then pressured the winner leaving the three eighths pole, but dropped back approaching the quarter, rounded the turn at the rail and weakened in the lane. HARDLY EVER BETTER chased inside, raced near the rail on the turn, was blocked toward the head of the lane, steadied from tight quarters at the rail mid-stretch and weakened.
