Chart notes
EMERALD FOREST stumbled leaving the starting gate then pressed the pace from two wide gained the lead after a half, drew clear in the stretch and held on under steady urging. SECRETARY AT WAR tracked the leaders from the two path then made a four wide bid in upper stretch and battled outside of IN SKY WE TRUST down the stretch but didn't have enough to catch the winner. IN SKY WE TRUST was roused to be placed off the pace made a three wide bid in upper stretch and fought gamely inside of SECRETARY AT WAR in the drive. HALF AGAIN was hustled to the lead from the inside and weakened at the eighth pole. EXTIRPATOR was off the pace while being three wide but failed to menace. HARDCORE FOLKLORE had no impact.
