CAPTAIN CHAZZ dueled outside, faded briefly on the turn then came again to get up following a long drive. PRINCE FILIP earned a narrow advantage inside, bid clear briefly at the quarter pole, was reengaged into the stretch and continued gamely to the finish. IMAGINE THIS lagged far behind inside then offered late energy inside rivals. SOUTHERN RUNNER lacked speed outside, moved even wider on the turn then flattened out. SPLITZVILLE broke slowest, moved inside., angled out in the stretch and weakened. CAJUN INVASION prompted the pace briefly three wide and stopped on the turn.
