Chart notes
THE BEST CANDY was reserved early, circled the field five wide leaving the quarter pole and then drew clear under a right handed crop urging. COLOUR GUARD was bumped after the start, then tracked the pace on the inside, eased out two wide to get by the weakening pace setter on the turn, angled back in to be on the inside leaving the turn, finished willingly to be clearly second best. TAKE IT TO SCALE was allowed to settle early, made a four wide move on the turn to loom boldly by the quarter pole, flattened out. PAGE DOWN tracked the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn and came up empty in the drive. GATOR FIFTY TWO set the fast pace early and getting over to the inside and faltered.
