TRENDING UP was well rated three wide, made a three wide move on the turn, vied for command between horses by the furlong marker, then prevailed gamely after a long drive to prove best. OUR LUCKY MAN steadied into the first turn, then was well placed two wide, then was shuffled back nearing the five sixteenths, made a four wide bid by the quarter pole, vied for command by the furlong marker and put a nose in front bearing the sixteenth marker but was outfinished to just miss, tough best. MUCHO MACHO EDDIE vied for the lead three wide, then was two wide on the turn, then on the inside by the furlong marker and gave way grudgingly while keeping on to the wire, bested rest. MAXIMUS AURELIUS was off a step slow, reserved early, swung out five wide for the drive and had no rally. WISH FOR PEACE was rated two wide, made a bid between rivals on the turn and weakened.
