Chart notes
AIRSPEED VELOCITY , clear soon after the break, moved over to the inner rail approaching the first turn, remained along the rail setting the pace, was challenged by EVAN HARLAN in mid stretch, dug in when bumped by that one in deep stretch and narrowly prevailed. EVAN HARLAN bore out on AMARILLO leaving the starting gate, was three deep both turns while stalking the pace, challenged for the lead in mid stretch and hung after drifting in and bumping the winner in deep stretch. HARD TRAVELER saved ground on both turns while forwardly placed and closed ground late. GENERAL'S DUTY lost ground on both turns, angled out in upper stretch and had a mild gain. BAD TO THE BONES , bumped by AMARILLO after breaking slowly, circled the far turn three wide, angled to the five path in upper stretch and was no threat. VIOLENT ROCK chased the pace outside the winner to the stretch then weakened. HACHURE , along the inner rail on the far turn, eased out in upper stretch and was not a factor. TRASH TALKIN LARRY was no factor. SPIRITUAL GHOST was outrun. AMARILLO bumped BAD TO THE BONES when forced out by EVAN HARLAN leaving the starting gate, failed to be a factor nd was eased through the stretch.
