Chart notes
COASTAL JAZZ showed good early speed from the inside to set the pace, raced three to four wide in the stretch run and drew clear late under steady handling. DEFENSE WINS settled off the early pace, moved up along the inside near the quarter pole, moved up through the stretch run but was no match for the winner. EL ALTO HOMBRE stalked the pace, raced four wide through the upper stretch and had no final winning bid. LA WAUN was off slowly, dropped off the early going, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and had no final response. STAND TO was hustled along early and weakened while racing near the inside. DENNARD was off slowly, raced near the back of the pack early, was two to three wide in the drive and never was a factor.
