DEVILISH MAGIC pressured the pace wresting a short lead abreast rival on the turn shaking clear in the two path upper stretch digging in gamely late. KIT KAT KATIE pressured the pace through the turn saving ground to upper stretch being held at bay late along the rail. ALGODONAL slow early lagged through the turn losing ground to upper stretch picking up the others while six wide. SALT ON THE RIM pressed then chased on the turn wearing down in the four path upper stretch. SOPHIE RULES acting up as the gate opened would miss the break. CHRISTIANITY faded on the turn. AN OBJECTION FROM THE RIDER OF KIT KAT KATIE AGAINST THE RIDER OF DEBILISH MAGIC FOR INTERFERENCE NEAR THE QUARTER POLE WAS QUICKLY DISMISSED BY THE STEWARDS.
