Chart notes

FLASHING DIAMOND forced the pace in hand, took over when ready at the quarter pole then held on gamely from outside challenger. DILLY DILLY PHILLY moved close up inside, angled out into the stretch with a determined but gradual gain. SNOW FORECAST broke alertly, settled outside, bid on the turn and finished willingly. FLEETERTHAN saved ground throughout, faded on the turn then came again while no threat. BLUE SHINE dropped back between rivals early and lacked a rally. ALWAYS TALKING lunged slightly but rushed to the front, vied through the turn and faded. REITERATE dropped back at the start and was never in contention. PEAK OF CHIC chased wide down the backstretch and gave way readily.
