Chart notes
C THE KING well placed and outside, gained position two and three wide through the second turn, bid three wide outside the leader into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear. HE'S SO ZAZZY broke a step slowly from the gate, looped up two and three wide through the second turn, angled widest in the stretch and edged up for the place. ENGLISH LAUGHTER sprinted to a clear lead while bearing out, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then weakened late and held the show. SHAKEDOWN allowed to settle inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and passed tiring rivals. MY FRIEND FRANK tracked the pace, lost some ground through the turn, then angled out into the stretch and faded. LAUDERDALE stalked the pace on the outside, bid between rivals into the stretch, then steadied and faded.
