MORO CHARLIE vied two wide for the lead, dueled with KID SLIPPER on the turn, dug in gamely between rivals past the furlong marker, inched away to a short lead and held on determinedly late. CATALE STORM tracked early on the inside, chased the leaders on the turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied outside, dueled and dug in gamely outside to the finish. COVINGTON QUALITY stalked close up three wide, bid three wide on the turn, dueled between rivals in the stretch run and dug in late to earn the show spot. KID SLIPPER vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch and just missed for third. POP CULTURE raced off the pace inside, then two wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and failed to threaten.
