Chart notes
TUT'S REVENGE, urged to a forward placing while angling inside racing to the first turn, tipped outside the pacesetter on the bend prompting the leader, moved to press the issue on the far turn, dueled into upper stretch and edged clear under firm encouragement. DRAMA CHORUS was urged to the lead outside foes, angled to the inside once gaining the advantage, dictated the pace on a narrow margin to the far turn, resisted the winner past midstretch but proved only second best. BELLAMYS ROAN settled along the inside in the opening half, steadily gained position along the inside on the far turn, swung out four wide entering upper stretch carrying out TIGER DAD but lacked the needed late kick. TIGER DAD switched out three wide racing into the first turn while being prompted to a forward placing, tracked off the first flight outside a rival into the second bend, was carried well wide into upper stretch and proved empty in the drive. MY INDY dropped out early. BODENHEIMER broke slowly, was prompted to gain a contending position while being forced out four wide racing into the first turn and was through after a half.
