Chart notes
COAST TO COAST dueled for the early lead and made a two wide bid on the turn to edge clear by the quarter pole, then shook clear leaving the turn three wide, then drew out in the final furlong to prove best under a drive. CURRENT HOPE was bumped by the nine sixteenths pole, stalked the pace three wide, made a four wide bid on the turn, could not go with the winner while clearly second best. DROSSELMOON tracked the pace two wide, advanced between rivals by the quarter pole but lacked the needed stretch bid, bested rest. MEROCKETMAN came in bumping CURRENT HOPE early, tracked the pace four wide and the came up empty in the drive. EXECUTIVE DECREE was allowed to settle early and had no rally while on the inside. CUMBERLAND GAP was off a beat slow, then raced four wide on the turn and had no rally. IRISH ROAR (IRE) dueled for the lead on the inside and weakened.
