Chart notes
ST. PADDY'S DADDY allowed to settle, gained position three wide through the second turn, bid between rivals into the stretch, then drew off and was kept to the task. CASTLE KING well placed outside, gained a striking position three and four wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane, then could not threaten the winner and held the place. HONOR COLLECTION allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, angled widest into the stretch and closed well for the show. RAYO COLORADO set the early pace off the rail, came again through the second turn to edged ahead, then could not match strides with the winner into the stretch, weakened and held a share. PREQUALIFIED vied for the early lead on the inside, moved up to gain a short lead down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged through the second turn, then weakened the final furlong. TRAFFIC THIEF tracked the pace well back, then faded inside through the second turn. BOARDWALK BOB no factor.
