Chart notes
NOBLE EMPIRE showed good early speed from the inside, took command nearing the far turn and drew off in the drive under strong handling. ROYAL KITTEN stalked the pace from the inside down the backstretch, moved up three to four wide in the stretch run but couldn't match strides with the winner to finish second best. MAN ON THE MOON stalked the pace, raced five deep near the three sixteenths pole and had not enough for the top pair in the drive. WICKED FINN settled off the early going, raced near the inside around the far turn through the stretch and had no response. HOPPING HENRY pressed Noble Empire early on and gave way while racing four wide. FELIX THE FOX was slow early and trailed throughout.
