Chart notes
IN THE GOSPEL saved ground just off the early pace, came between horses to take the lead nearing the seven sixteenths pole, came under pressure toward the quarter, ran at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the stretch. LET'S GET PHYSICAL raced off the pace about the three path, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, continued in the three path of the far turn and settled for second best. MASTER YOO saved ground, picked up the chase from the seven sixteenths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn and came along for third approaching mid-stretch. VIDMER'S COURAGE raced with the early pace and took a brief lead past the half mile pole, gave chase leaving the three eighths, rounded the far turn in the three and four paths then weakened. CHAMPAGNE JAM raced well off the pace in the three and four paths and had little response through the backstretch. THORN OF ROSE HILL settled well off the pace and off the rail the opening turn, then showed little response through the backstretch. MR. HOSTLER rated a short lead inside, was caught leaving the half mile pole, gave chase from that point, though, readily faded leaving the five sixteenths.
