D C HERO got off a bit slow from the gate, then angled out on the turn and rallied, to get up for show. PUTMAN stalked the pace early on, three wide, then had a mild rally at the head of the stretch and hung late. INVINCIBILITY dueled for the lead through the turn, racing along the inside, and gave way mid stretch. CAPT. ST. JACQUES chased the pace, traveling two wide and had an even effort. CHARMING OAKIE dueled for the lead, racing along the rail, then dropped back into the turn. BALKY was near the back, going three wide and showed little.
