LORD WINSALOT vied for the early lead three wide, then went on to set the pace and move down to the inside by the five eighths, then shook clear by the five sixteenths and remained clear by the furlong marker, then maintained a safe margin to the wire to prove best under a drive. MIDNIGHT HAULER was four wide into the first turn, then rated three wide and made a three wide move on the turn, then finished willingly in the drive to be gaining late. RON DON SCORESE vied for the early lead and then stalked the winner on the inside on the backstretch, faded while besting the rest. TRIPLE A. PLUS stalked the pace three wide, then was between rivals on the turn and two wide, angled out leaving the three sixteenths and was empty. COPPERHEAD CREEK was rated along the inside and failed to respond.
