Chart notes
HAPPY ROMANCE broke out at the start, chased the pace from the inside early, raced in the two path along the turn, was in the three path into the lane, rallied in the stretch, drove past the leader near the sixteenths pole and cleared in the final stages. BAD DECISIONS stalked the pace early, raced in the four path through the turn, rallied down the lane and was up for place in the late stages. NAVAL OFFICER set the pace from the outset, was in the two path into the lane, remained clear near the eighth pole but was overtaken near the sixteenths pole, yielded late and lost place in the final stages. LOCO trailed the field early on, was in the four path into the lane with a belated gain in the stretch run. LUNAR ROCKET was bumped at the start and raced back early on, was in the four path into the lane and moved up in the stretch drive. C J ALL THE WAY tracked the pace early on, raced in the three path through the turn and weakened late in the stretch. RIGHT OF RUSH hopped at the start and was never a threat. DEVIL'S GLEN was bumped at the start and done early. TEMPO MADNESS was through after a half.
