Chart notes
CONFIDENCE BUILDER stalked the pace, made a good three wide bid near the quarter pole, raced five wide through the upper stretch and finished well to be clear late under strong handling. SHARP CURVE was slow early, moved up four wide and rallied well through the stretch to get up for the place position. A WHOLE LOTTA HULA vied for the early lead from the inside and weakened in the drive. APPOINTED STAR was bumped soundly at the start, pressed the early leader down the backstretch and weakened the final eighth of a mile. ASHLEY BEAUTIFUL dropped back early, raced five to six wide through the upper stretch and had no late rally. FLYIN BY broke in bumped with rival at the break, stalked the early pace, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and weakened in the drive. CADILLAC MARGARITA stalked the pace from the outside in the early and stopped.
