Chart notes
TOP EXECUTIVE stalked the pace, moved up four wide through the lane, surged through the lane, surged late and just got up under strong handling. PAPA'S GOLDEN BOY showed good early speed to set the early pace, raced well clear near the eighth pole and was caught near the wire in a game effort. WINDRIBBON stalked the pace, moved up four wide near the quarter pole, angled in and had not enough for the top pair in the drive. FIVE STAR GENERAL was off slowly, raced four wide near the three sixteenths pole and had no final winning bid. SLEW'S TIZ WHIZ dropped back early, raced five wide through the upper stretch and never was a factor. DUTTON vied for the early lead and tired readily.
