BIG UNION away alertly and battled for the lead two wide entering the first turn, before taking a narrow advantage from along the rail entering he backstretch, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backside and through the final turn, took the lead into the stretch, and inched clear late. PRINCE CAIRO broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, before being taken in hand and allowed to drop into a stalking trip entering the backstretch, rallied smartly from along the inside entering the final turn, shifted four wide entering the lane, and closed determinedly to get up for the place in the closing strides. HE'S RELENTLESS tracked the leader into the first turn while racing two out from the rail, engaged the pacesetter two wide entering the backstretch to force the issue, continued to battle with BIG UNION through the final turn, struggled to match strides with that foe entering the lane, and was outfinished late for the place. BODEGA unhurried early while dropping back to trail entering the backstretch, bided his time at the back of the pack in the run to the final turn, launched his bid from along the inside entering the final turn, and found his best stride late while finishing from along the rail in the stretch drive. ERLICH tracked the leader three out from the rail entering the first turn, chased the leader four wide in the run down the backside, raced three wide entering the final turn, but faded over the final furlong.
