Chart notes
SET THE PACE dueled while two wide on the first turn, then set the pace down the backstretch, cleared the far turn to draw off in late stretch and prevail. CASHEW chased the early leaders in the two path, then settled back down the backstretch, came out four wide to rally on the far turn and was closing well but it was not enough. TOO MUCH IRISH was unhurried early then chased the pace from the inside, menaced on the far turn, then raced evenly throughout the final furlongs. MALIBU KENDALL chased the pace while four wide, made a mild bid on the far turn but flattened out in the end. FASHION MERIT dueled from the inside around the first turn, then stalked the leader down the backstretch, was used up and faded entering the far turn.
