Chart notes
I CAN RUN stalked the dueling leaders, bid three wide on the far turn, quickly took charge, drew off under urging and was taken in hand for the final yards. JOY'S PRIDE raced two wide off the pace, advanced outside on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and rallied for second. ASHLEY'S HOPE was outrun early, forced wide to avoid a fallen rival nearing the quarter pole, then rallied mildly outside. NO SYMPATHY raced four wide early, then dueled two wide for command, dueled into the far turn and weakened. RACHEL CAROLINE raced off the pace inside, came out impeding BEACH DAZE on the far turn, then lacked a rally. TAKEITTOCOMITTEE dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the far turn and tired. BEACH DAZE tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn, was weakening, then clipped the heels of RACHEL CAROLINE, stumbled and lost the rider, walked off. After a Stewards' Inquiry, RACHEL CAROLINE was disqualified and placed last.
