Chart notes
FLIPPIN was settled early, advanced three to four wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane, closed well to be clear at the wire under a drive. GIANT ILLUSION was reserved early, then was two to three wide on the turn, came four wide into the drive, then was bumped and came in leaving the furlong marker, angled out nearing the sixteenth pole and rallied late to gain the place award. VOLATA tracked the pace three wide, then made a two wide bid leaving the turn and kept on but needed more, lost place award late. HALO STYLE vied for the early lead on the inside, then was rated back and saved ground on the turn, angled out leaving the furlong marker, bumped with GIANT ILLUSION and then checked hard by the sixteenth marker and lost all chance. RIDE THE WIND was allowed to settle early, was on the inside entering the lane, then shifted off the inside by the sixteenth pole and was not asked for full effort late. LOADED QUESTION vied for the early lead three wide, then quickly spurted clear and moved to the inside on the turn and then had nothing left in the final furlong. The Stewards had an INQUIRY into the running through the stretch, after reviewing the replays the race was left as is.
