Chart notes
NORTHERN BLEND stalked the pace, raced four wide through the upper stretch, took command near the eighth pole and held gamely late to prove best under strong handling. BRANNIGAN dropped back early, moved up through the far turn, raced near the inside at the quarter pole, shifted out four wide and closed in gamely late. DANNY ZUKO was coaxed along early while racing three deep, raced three to two wide in the stretch run and kept on to the wire. LIGHTNING STAR stalked the pace, moved up four wide through the far turn and had no enough in the drive. C JAXON pressed the pace from the inside and weakened a bit late. FIRING PIN settled off the early going, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and had no final winning bid.
