Chart notes
MEANT FOR ME pressed the pace on the outside early, took over the lead while racing in the three path around the turn, kicked clear in the stretch and held that margin to the wire under a drive. HELAIRE came up the backstretch in the middle of the pack, raced into traffic coming around the turn, was forced to switch out to the three path to began his bid entering the stretch and chased the leader home from there. GOLDEN PEGASUS trailed far back through the opening three eighths of a mile, saved ground around the turn and passed tiring horses with a late surge while drifting out in the final furlong. PITCH AND RUN brushed with the horse to his outside leaving the gate, recovered to duel on the inside up the backstretch and around the turn and flattened out in the lane. LITTLE FRAPPUCINO raced at the back of the pack in the opening stages, began a bid from the four path coming around the turn and weakened in the stretch. ARKANSAS ZONG brushed with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, dueled between horses up the backstretch, began to drop back while racing in the two path around the turn and tired further from there.
