ROYAL COUP stalked three wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled, led into the lane, edged away, then dug in gamely outside in deep stretch and prevailed. HIT ME I'M LUCKY raced three wide early, then vied two wide for the lead, dueled between rivals on the far turn, dropped back a bit, then battled back gamely inside of the winner in the final sixteenth. LIB'S CONTENTO stumbled at the start, tracked on the inside, chased the leaders on the far turn, rallied mildly outside and got up late for third. ONE TIME WILLARD vied inside for the lead, dueled inside rivals on the far turn and weakened in the stretch. PAL raced two wide off the pace, three wide on the far turn and lacked a rally. SALTIN' THE RIM bobbled at the break, raced three wide early, then chased four wide and tired. GONE ASTRAY KISS raced two wide off the pace, then between rivals and faded.
