Chart notes
AMERICAN THEOREM raced in range early on, tracked along the inside into the turn then tipped three wide outside the leaders at the quarter mile pole, took a narrow lead and brushed in upper stretch, battled outside PRINCIPE CARLO down the lane and gamely prevailed. PRINCIPE CARLO pressed the pace from outside, inched ahead past the five-sixteenths pole, led two wide into the drive, overtaken by AMERICAN THEOREM and brushed in upper stretch, fought back gamely and battled head to head through the final furlong but narrowly missed at the wire. GET HER NUMBER brushed leaving the gate, dropped back early, went two wide into the turn, split foes at the quarter pole then came four wide into the stretch, brushed with rival in upper stretch and was along for the show. EXAULTED broke a bit slow and brushed with inner rival, raced near the back early on, traveled along the inside into the turn, angled three wide late on the bend, brushed with rival in upper stretch and failed to make an impact. BRICKYARD RIDE set the pace with PRINCIPE CARLO to the outside, challenged by that rival past the three-eighths, lost command past the five-sixteenths pole while being asked, lost touch entering the stretch and gave way. ELECTOR stalked the top pair from outside, went three wide into the turn, lost ground while under urging through the bend, entered the lane five wide and tired.
