Chart notes
ALWAYS ABOVE was bumped at the start and trailed the field early on, was in the three path entering the lane for the final time, rallied down the lane, drove past the leader and drew away in the final stages. STICKY ISSUE set the pace early, was on the inside into the lane, remained clear near the eighth pole but was overtaken and no match for the winner late. SURROGATE chased the pace early along the inside, took a bad step and lost action in the final turn from the rail, was in the two path entering the lane, altered out widest down the lane and rallied. VINTAGE YEAR was bumped at the start, chased the pace early, was shuffled back a bit, raced in the four path into the lane, came again down the lane and moved up. MADISON LUVS DUKE raced back early on, made a bid near the three eighths pole, was in the three path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch run. SAILOR'S RETURN was bothered early on, made a middle move down the backstretch, was in the two path into the lane and faded late in the stretch. CONSULATE raced widest into the lane and was never a factor. TRUMPETS BLARE was bumped at the start and no threat. CALRISSIAN was through after three quarters. STAMKOS was through after a mile.
